Does Anyone Have A DriftBox or PerformanceBox?

If so, how does it work? Would you recommend it? Alternatives?

Thanks.

That is what I have and you can use it next week after your car is done to see if you like it. Download the desktop software at

http://www.driftbox.com/dlsoftware.html

Load it on your desktop/laptop so you can view the data and graphs that it collected. You will need a SD Card reader becaus this is where the data is captured and stored.

See attached graph and files it provides.

Traqmate?

I don't have those, but use a Traqmate data logger.

Here's an example where I used the included software to overlay the data with a video feed: http://homepage.mac.com/cnicholson1/Thill7_12.m4v

I suspect that the sensors (GPS + accelerometers) are similar in this gizmo to the others, but the software is gears more toward lapping than straight-line performance runs.

That said, it will certainly do speed versus distance or speed versus time plots like those above.

For $13, what the heck? I bought it yesterday from the App Store. Haven't had a chance to try it out, yet.
