The match is perfect, the only complain is that my left elbow suffers its hardness

Thanks for your response.
Next questions - What is the longest amount of time that you've spent in the seats @ one time?
How tall are you & how much do you weigh, if you don't mind me asking?

Zuffenhausen-Strasbourg-Gerona from 15 pm till 03 am. Minus one and a half hour stop at Strasbourg airport and another half to dinner at the gas station makes 10 hours trip more or less.
Nobody could be asleep on that seats.
Im 180 cms tall, 72 kgs.

Knowing what you do now, would you do the same trip again, comfort wise?

Thanks

There are two "versions" of the seats. As far as I can tell, if you order them as an option on a new car, there is no embossed crest in the headrest, but when ordered on their own after the sale, there are crests.

We threw the seats on the scale and they came in at just under 25 lbs a piece.

If you're participating in a racing event above a DE, consult your track's tech inspector or event sponsor to see what the rules are regarding solid buckets vs two piece folding bucket seats. The GT3 seats may still be a better option for some people out there.

Thanks Steve for the clarification. Imho these seats are not made for frequent long trips but who knows, each one it is a different world

I have Euro OEM seats in RS and had made 3 hour trips with no problem, not the best comfort but acceptable.
The new Gt2 seats are a lot more butt friendly but problem at all with long trips.

Steve,

Any word on how I can get the factory alcantara inserts? I have a GT2 and would like to match the OEM look.

Not true, if you read the seat description in the technical guide, it says that the seat has a hybrid construction of a fiberglass-reinforced plastic core as well as a carbon-fibre reinforced plastic core. It is not CF optik like the interior pieces, that would explain why it weighs under 25lbs.
