997TT is the most difficult car to park that I've owned
Cool Ari, but now I'm waiting for the one where a stunt driver flies down a street towards a T-junction, and then, with e-brake, etc., slides into a parking spot directly at the end, closely between two other cars on the perpendicular street. Hate to imagine the curb rash on those bent wheels getting that stunt perfected...
Then with movie trickery, there's this cute blond that gets out of her E39 5 series and just pushes the car sideways into the space between two cars. The car rocks back and forth a bit realistically as the tires stop their sideways travel.

After reading the first post of this thread, I laughed out loud. Parking in my garage is my issue. I've got an older home, and it's a ***** to back it into the garage that seems to be built wide enough for a horse drawn carriage!
Thanks for the laugh!

I googled the SPF Shelby's and I would order one if I had the money. I like their attention to the original incorporated with the modern technology.

I have to say that I sometimes long for the nimbleness of a car like the Cobra or perhaps a GT3/RS. The TT is a heavy car compared with a truer sports car, as we all know.
I'd love to try out a Lambo or a Ferrari. That 430 Scud. is a real hot machine.
As far as the Phantom (I assume your talking about RR), with the poor roads in my area and advancing age I find myself thinking in those terms, though not quite as high end.
You can get some really good Cobras used these days for a decent price...I would sell the 911 in a heartbeat if I had to choose...the car is just insane. If you are ever around NJ let me know and I'll take you for a spin!
Thanks for the offer Justin!
I was looking at their GT40 on the web. Now that's a car you don't see around. I see the new Ford Gt at times. There are a two where I park my car.

I've found that more than any other car I've owned, the 997TT can be difficult to park. Sometimes it takes three attempts and still I'm not entirely satisfied.
I just keep on driving past my home saying, "I'll just do another quick loop."
I suspect that a GT3/GT2 would bring about an even stronger draw to the road.
Has anyone had or have a different car that beckons you so?

Alex, every time I think about your RS I think about the excitement of night time drives around West Marin and Mt. Tam. I might have to make four loops before I could pry myself from a GT3 with the Shark Werks treatment.
I got my Turbo back from the EVO boys in AZ so jumping between the two settles the visceral NA vs the torque-machine itch I get! I must admit it that it took a while to stop driving it just to pick up parts from the dealer etc...
I just got back from a week in Seattle and I've been thinking on and off about getting in the P-car and going for a drive.
Now all this talk is stirring me to go. I was very lucky that I was able to pay for my own room and board vs. a no-frills package provided by the state given the speeds that the car was traveling at up and back down. Best not to press my luck further perhaps.
That's why I was thinking about your RS on the back roads. The TT is just a bit too heavy on those curves - and the power would be plenty in that instance I think.

PS Dan told me about the Torco thing so I did some digging with Todd@EVOMS and turns out he's been playing/testing it too. I'll know more later on that.
I just put two 32oz. cans in the new M5 on a full tank of 91. I'll take it out tomorrow and see if there's any difference.
I thought I got a bit better running engine with the 92 oct in Oregon and Washington.
