997TT is the most difficult car to park that I've owned
 

I've found that more than any other car I've owned, the 997TT can be difficult to park. Sometimes it takes three attempts and still I'm not entirely satisfied.

I just keep on driving past my home saying, "I'll just do another quick loop.":D

I suspect that a GT3/GT2 would bring about an even stronger draw to the road.

Has anyone had or have a different car that beckons you so?

I have it way more in my SPF Shelby Cobra...I just can't get out of it...it's the most fun I've ever had in any type of car...

The 911 is nice but it's sort of boring compared to the Cobra...

Haha, I opened this post thinking my TT is the easiest car to pull into and out of parking spaces I've ever been in, what the hell is this guy talking about. I do agree with you though, very difficult to get out of, makes me enjoy my 30 minute commute to work everyday for sure!

lol, I know what you mean. I also have a 30 minute commute even though I'm only 6 miles from the office. I always find a "longer" way to get there.......

This can be a problem sometimes :) That's why my 15 minute trips easily become few hours :D

this is the must car i loved, i own many from MB to BMW but this is something diffrent.

Parking is easy but keeping it ding/theft/scratch free adds a huge challenge . I have no problem placing the car where I want it but its shape confuses those who park next to it . With the rear width flair and the mirrors which can;t fold inward (like my M3) I simply refuse to take my Turbo to most parking lots . Places like supermarkets , movie theatres and shopping malls are 99 percent out (leaving a margin of error) .

So where do I go with it ? Very few places and if I must park it either there is a security guard watching it or security camera .

You can manually fold back the mirrors by 1) folding them back, and 2) setting the red-levered latch to hold them back. Releasing is easily done by just pulling back on the mirror to release the spring loaded latch.

Btw, I think some of us are not realizing the jest of my thread...;) Or am I being hoodwinked.:o

I have accidentally knocked the sideview while washing but never strategically placed it while parking . Great idea . The M3 has one motorized button .

I completely understand your post . I drive my car nowhere sometimes just because i miss driving it and pampering it the best I can means a lot to me.

Trying to park a Cabrio or back it out of a space is a pain. No visibility until the front window is clear of the car next to you. The view out of the rear window is like looking out of a mailbox slot. Good luck to us all.

You would absolutely hate Lambo's and Phantom's. :)
Both terrible cars to park.
The Porsche, on the other hand, I find extremely easy to park.

Indeed, I've heard that about the Lambos, and who would want the parking sensor look on that car, if they are even an option.

I have told myself that I'd leave them off my next Porsche as well. I don't have them on my current P-car. They take away from the look more than I'd like, in my opinion. I do love them on my M5 though, though not aesthetically, but they seem more acceptable on a sedan.

I certainly would never argue against someone having them on any car they owned. I understand going for practicality over form.
