2007 turbo "system navigation error, cd, audio, not available"

i have intermittent problems with my radio.

occasionally when i start the car, i get a "system navigation error, cd, audio not available".

i can't listen to my radio, cd, ipod, or get navigation.

i have to turn the car off for a while for it to reboot.

has anyone else had this problem? what is the cause? what is the solution?

is it a computerized glitch?

annoyed,
twon

i believe it's the BOSE system.

i've tried turning the system and car off then on, and have replugged in the ipod, but that doesn't seem to work. it's like i have to wait for the next time i drive the car for the system to reboot.

a buddy of mine who has an older turbo experiences the same problem every once in a while, but he's not sure what to do either.

has anyone brought their car in to have PORSCHE SERVICE look at it? somehow i doubt they know what the cause is, or how to fix it.

I think you should take it to the porsche service, they should be able to figure out what it is considering the car is still under warranty.. why not
