So a GT-R with an intercooler pipe, ecu flash, exhaust, meth injection kit, and intake filters ran in the top 11 on this Porsche list! Another GT-R with exhaust, wheel bearings and, pulleys and ecu flash also ran in the top 11 on this list. With the car being our for only 3 months I would say that is very impressive.

Your math is as bad as your trolling. The GT-R has only been out for 3 months??? Who cares? You keep trying to change the thread subject to drag racing with the meth injected GT-R when it has nothing to do with this thread.

After reading all the posts, I've decided to wait for the 998TT and picked up an obsidian black GTR. It's just sooooo much cheaper than a 911 Turbo. You guys prolly knew I was headed that way anyways. I know there are great deals on used 911tt's but it's so much nicer to have new I'll tell you this thing is fast and fun to drive. The ride is really harsh and the interior cheap compared to Audi, BMW and Porsche but man it's so easy to go fast. And yes, I had to sign all the docs about the noise, warranty and all that so I'm terrified to to disable anything. I just throw everything into R mode and step on the pedal. You guys may find this funny. When I was at the bank and asked for the certified check to Nissan, they were like "Are you buying three cars?" haha. I felt kinda silly laying down that much for a Nissan but what the hell. I'll be the first to post a tranny issue when it happens but for now I'm having too much fun with it. Pics soon.

The 60-130 runs are verified using a Divining Rod. That is the only accurate method. All the 60-130 GPS charts shown are just for fluff.

Since this has clearly escaped Galactose,

all the 60-130mph figures posted on 6speed:
GPS based performance computer/accelerometer times (V-Box, Drift Box or Performance Box )

PLEASE NOTE: Only GPS based, datalogger times from V-box equipment (Driftbox, performance box, or V-box) will be accepted for this list. No extrapolated times from 1/4 mile time-slips. Also, all submitted data must be reviewed for accuracy and approved by a Subject Matter Expert (SME) before the time is posted.

Current SME's are:

Divexxtreme - Divexxtreme@hotmail.com
Accichelli - acicchelli@hotmail.com
KPG - Kpgtdg1@aol.com

*NOTE: The maximum allowed downhill slope over the course of the run is 3.00%. Any run that exceeds 3.00% will not be posted on the list.

at 7.7 seconds, the GTR is traveling at 172 ft/s, the TT is at 190 ft/s. The TT is putting almost an additional 20ft distance on the GTR with each second and the difference is increasing

I pulled up to a GTR on Friday night, he revved his engine and then put a sign up in his drivers window. It read " I can not race you no matter how much I want to, my tranny will blow and so does my warranty" I laughed and drove away.

Nissan will pull this car from the market just give it a few more months.

If you bothered to actually READ my previous post another GT-R WITHOUT METH did the same 10.8 @ 133mph without LC. Again very impressive times for a brand new car with an exhaust and a reflash. I don't see many 997TT going 10.8@133+ with an exhaust and a reflash.
G-Tech...right.

A stock Corvette ZO6 driven by our own Jamie Furman (10.981) with stock tires ran mighty close to the highly modified Nissan GTR.

Yes, it does show your lack of intelligence. 60-130 times are not anything like 1/4 mile times. There are a lot more cars on that list that will waist that GT-R in a 60-130.

My friend pulled up next to a 997tt with his GTR and started to rev his engine. The tt owner put up a sign next to his window. It read " I can not race you no matter how much i want to. There are too many witnesses here, and i don't want to be embarrassed by a Datsun which costs half the price of my car. Afterall, i only bought this car to pose" True story.
