since both sides can pretty much agree that a Fat 4000lb pig with only 480 bhp cannot do 7:29 and change, we all agree that it had considerably more hp and definitely racng tires. So it was a tuner car for sure with track setup for sure and who knows what else. about as close to race as possibly.

that being said, then there are plenty of street legal porsches with that setup that will eat it up:

While I don't wish failure on any one car company or group of enthusiasts, the behavior of Nissan and some GT-R owners have been so utterly "regrettable" that I can't help but have a little smile of satisfaction at this point. I guess one deserves a little "guilty pleasure" once in a while.

Note to GT-R owners: Sell the car, NOW.
Note to GT-R buyers: MUST ask if sellers have ever "raced" the car. Priceless.. just priceless.

Do not misuse your Porsche by ignoring those laws and driving conditions, or by
ignoring the instructions in this manual. Any alteration or misuse of the vehicle can
lead to accidents and severe or fatal personal injuries.
The fitting of racing tires (e.g. slicks) for sporting events is not approved by Porsche. Very high cornering speeds can be achieved with racing tires. However, the resulting transverse acceleration values would jeopardize the adequate supply of oil to the engine.
Porsche therefore will not accept any warranty or accept any liability for damage occurring as a result of non-compliance with this provision.

And you don't think the behavior of Porsche making accusations without any valid proof is not "regretable". And exactly what behavior are you reffering to by Nissan and GTR owners? Any fan or enthusiast of a certain brand will always defend their brand, just like how many Porsche owners here are very happy about this whole situation like yourself. I'm a fan of both cars, but i have to admit that i'm a bigger fan of Porsche. But this does not put a smile on my face or have any satisfaction from it because i wouldn't want it to happen to Porsche or any other cars that i like or own. JMHO.
