Question Can someone help me out?

Hi:

I'm planning on getting a 997 turbo within the next 2~3 month. Is it possible to get one under invoice since economy is bad right now. Also can someone please recommand me a dealership near LA where I can possibily get the best price with great customer service. Many thanks!!

Dennis

I think you have a far better chance of getting a smokin' hot deal on a slightly used one. As the economy tanks, there will be lots available, some at fire sale prices.

My guess is Jamie is correct.

If the economy worsens, dealerships for high end vehicles will probably sell less, and their profits will go down. My guess is that they will be less willing to negotiate. Porsche isn't going to decrease their price to the dealership...in fact, they have already decreased production in anticipation for a slowing market....and if they are selling fewer cars, they will be more dependent on their profit for each sale.

You'd probably be able to find a great deal on a used vehicle that is still CPO.

I would definitely go for a used car, save the cash, and also there should be plenty to choose from. Shouldn't be too difficult to find one that was well maintained and has the options/colors you are looking for.
