Champion Springs
Champion Springs
Does anyone know what the wheel well height should be with these springs on a 997 turbo. I am trying to figure out why my car still looks stock. I don't notice a 1 inch drop. Thanks!
Maybe over time they will settle in?
Good Luck
Here is a pic of my car right after the Champion springs were installed and before a proper alignment. Looks dropped to me...
It measures 26.0 up front and 26.5 in the rear measured at mid fenderwell to the ground.

It looks like I may have put Champion 996 turbo springs on my car instead of 997 turbo springs. I know there is a weight difference between the cars but how serious could I potentially jack up the suspension leaving these springs on for awhile? The car does seem to handle better than stock! I don't want to spend a few thousand swapping back out if not necessary.
I am not sure if this is the indeed the the 996 setup for I am still investigating the situation. There is still a chance that I have the correct springs on. My car does look very similar to how Doug's car is sitting above. Thanks for you advice!

Doug's car is plenty low, he's 1/2" lower than mine on the front and probably scrapes everywhere. I would caution against trying to go any lower. If you have 996tt springs, the rates are all wrong and won't dampen correctly with your pasm system. Take 'em off, make the salesman eat the cost, his mistake.
