Anyone have side by side pictures of artic and gt silver together to see the difference? Or slate and meteorite gray?

 

You really HAVE to see this in person, as the differences are nearly too subtle to see over the web or on screen. Arctic is lighter than GT Silver, GT Silver is 'warmer' than Arctic.

Here is a side by side of two similarly equipped 997's, in the same dealership, one Arctic and one GT Silver, subtle difference are visible, but you really have to see it in person to decide.




GT Silver is a great color choice if you decide to go that way. Just a bit different from Arctic, which is on 30% or more of all Porsches on the road.

 

agree with eric. you need to see them in person. Both AS/GT and Slate/meteor are close but there are differences.

I was with a friend a couple of weeks ago who has a meteor 997TT. I've been meaning to take pics of both cars. Looking at pictures of the two colors taken on different days, by different people, at different locations is pretty useless IMHO.
