HRE wheel question

Have a set of 20" HREs with 325 rear and 245 front PS2 that I had mounted on my 997 TT. Would these wheels fit on a 996 turbo direct, would they with spacers, or am I just SOL?????

you need to include the wheel widths and offsets before anyone can answer your question with certainty

Most likely a 20x9 and 20x12 running those tire sizes for a 997 Wide Body. Depending on the tire brand, it may "work" but will be aggressive and will probably rub.

The 325/25/20 is a little too tall and tight for a 996TT for my comfort. I might consider getting the rears sent back to HRE to have the inner shortened by 1" to make it an 11" wheel and then using a 305/25/20 rear tire.

BADA BING is infamous around these parts
20" is too tall for the 996, the 996 traditionally took the maximum application in a 19" using 235/35-19, and a 315/25-19. When the 997 came out the set up to do 20" was possible...I would try to find another 997tt to put them on, or go with WE's recommendation to make them 11's for a std 997 vs trying to stuff them on a 996.

Just my 02

Jim

Here is a photo of a narrow body 996 with 20"
20x8.5 et45mm and 20x11et55mm. The tires used are the 235/30/20 and the 285/25/20. This car is lowered on H&R springs.
