The car looks and sounds amazing, does the TUBI race give off CEL??
Damn I wish you guys were in NY:(

Phoenix Dec 12, 2008 03:31 PM

Alex, excellent build. I love reading your build threads. Kudos.

N2it Dec 12, 2008 04:23 PM

Gawking sum it up!!! This wing fits, is functional and looks so much better in person.

Absolutely agree with you... N2it and I were gawking at it (right:D) on Wednesday. I like how it's not just for looks either but functional with those two inlets....

SlamYoRideSON Dec 12, 2008 05:23 PM

damn thats a beautiful car! nice rims too

Damage Dec 12, 2008 08:15 PM

Do you guys do custom fabrication work for exhausts for other makes? I would love to get my cats removed or swap out the mufflers for high flow ones or remove them altogether. Your shop is right down the street from me.

Ray Dec 12, 2008 08:24 PM

nicely done Alex!

joetwint Dec 12, 2008 08:27 PM

Wow, great set up and all done properly at the same time. Not sure about your tag number on the mirror though... :)

Cheers it was a fun-filled week that's for sure:D Funny you noticed the 666... Happens!

I think that lip/side/diffuser combo is my favorite! Nice.
The spoiler looks a bit funny, though. I would have gone with plain stock, OEM Aero, or TA Type I.

Great work as always.

Cheers Wyatt. I actually need to get some more pix of that Tail because it's really neat with the dual scoops and adjustable in a number of ways. So many different angles that I didn't get but it's more aggressive...

Hey TTGuru I do have some on the server and there's one above there if you look closely. It's a very similar set up to the GT2 wing so yes that does allow for more direct airflow indeed.

Perfect stance, not too low.
Very tastefully done, IMHO.
Any dyno/60-130 results forthcoming?

Cheers and we'll get some on those Tips... 1/4 mile times would be easily in the 10s. I know from my old tip what it takes and the gearing, tuning... it's got it in it.

Beautiful job . The attention which you have given to each detail gives each one of your cars a unique touch. Too bad you are 3000 miles from me.

Aw shucks... thanks:o James always buys cars from the East Coast and ends up driving them out so I know how far that is:eek:

Hey Nyamg, actually no CELs whatsoever, at least not with the tuning we use. Nifty design from Tubi on this one too.

Thanks Phoenix! It's fun seeing how these cars all turn out so differently too!

Cheers and I've got those same C21s on the RS. I just think it fits these 997's perfectly.

Hey Damage thanks for the kind words and we're strictly Porsche 996/997 only but there's a few muffler shops in town I believe.

I wish we could use it on the 996TT. The tubi boys sure know how to make sweet sounds eh?

Very very nice work. I've got to take a trip over and take a look around. My 997S Cab is just about off of warranty. Time to add some small upgrades.

Cheers Verde, there's a few nice bolt-on tricks for the S;)

Cheers Speedshaq, I prefer the ones with the rubber nubs on them in terms of grip. The ones without rubber nubs can be slippery if they get any moisture on them....
