New GT2 at $150K
It's more like 2-6 months from what I'm hearing. Hold on to your wallets, gentlemen.
Personally, I think that is impossible to do in this market. It's like trying to catch a falling knife.

In my opinion you already have the best possible garage: A Turbo for everyday, a GT3 RS for the track. I see absolutely no reason for you to buy a GT2 at whatever price (unless you want to try to make some money from it).
This was Walter Röhrl´s summary of the three in German TV:
997 GT3 RS: For the passionate "racer" type
997 Turbo: A racecar for everyday of the year irrespective of weather
997 GT2: For a manager in a hurry

Far be it from me to comment on issues related to your personal financial situation that would bear on your comfort in the spend side of this car. But I'm a one car per brand kind of guy. If I had multiples, I would gladly give up all other P-cars in the stable for a GT2. It's magnificent. OTOH, as evidenced by the comments about the prices of 996 GT2's, it'll be even less in a few years. That's what I'm waiting for.
