Oil options
Oil options
I hope this isn't a repeat thread but I didn't find much with search.
I know that Mobile 0-40 is the Porsche recommended oil for ALL styles of driving and that this has changed in recent years (think it was Mobile 5-40 previously?).
I'm wondering if there are other possibly "better" oil options for our cars; especially for track conditions and with after market power kit mods. And if so how available are they? I realize there is a bit of debate (on other forums anyway) but wonder if I could treat my car a bit better under heavier load driving.
Thanks in advance.

Your better oil options are with MOTUL or ELF oils. ELF which is now called " TOTAL ". Both made and tested in France. Numerous race teams of all levels use these 2 companies.
Much better than the Mobil 1 factory fiil you get from dealer.
