You guys have become very technical with this Pss10 . I can say this about the Techart springs - On the street in sport mode its rough riding but I can handle it . I felt the Damptronics might be the best well rounded choice . I can't give a full opinion until I have some more experience but the thread has been an interssting read .

Best VTG upgrade?

I am sure we have learned quite a bit about suspension and alignment and Can and I will sure to keep you posted with our long search for perfect handling, but i would like your opinions on Turbos, Intercoolers...

going with the JIC Cross

I decided to go ahead and install the JIC Cross coilovers, i read up a great review on Vivid Racing and heard great recommendations from a lot of others, the PSS10's were great, just not what my car needed.

Just thought i would drop in and mention this updgrade.

Anyone used this suspension on here?

If you make it to South Florida PM me . You'll have one less opinion to go hunting for. I have not driven any other upgrade except mine so the only thing I have to compare it to is : A) stock --which in contrast was pitiful compared to the where my car is now and 2) watching how other fast cars can't compete and 3) the fact that 4K miles driven have been all good .

The main feature is how linear the acceleration is . The stock Turbos had this lag moment follwed by a good thrust and then it let off . With the upgrade it has almost a seamless feel with a massive tidal wave type of push with solid control . There iks no comparison to stock and even modded with all the other bolt ons did not compare to the VTG upgrade .

I have two other cars . They are not considered slow (08 M3 and Honda Si) . The Turbo can run around both like a giant next to an ant .

If you are ok with not having PASM compatibility, then you really want to look at all your options. JIC is a good setup, but you should definately look at the KW V3's, JRZ RS, and Moton clubsports before making a decision. All different pricing levels and performance levels. IMO.

I will be traveling a few miles outside of FL on my way to Atlanta next Saturday. I may stop by on the way back.

I heard very good reports on the KW's as well. a buddy has his TT set up with the JIC and he has achieved what i am looking for, already ordered the JIC's Friday, should have them Monday morning as my car is on a lift at the dealership awaiting a part to be installed with the PSS10's already removed. the issue was that i bought the upgraded springs without taking into consideration that i am going to need to change the valving on the shocks to go along with a stiffer spring rate with the PSS10's therefore I found that the best, but surely not the cheapest solution is to redo the entire setup.

So we installed the JIC's today...

Pics are coming soon.

So far i have not had a chance to drive the car, but the height adjustments is a bit tricky but once you figure out how to do it, it is very clean and easy.

Springs are stiffer
Preload is pretty much set and is not affected by ride height
Too much gold but looks nice

Will post a report on ride quality in a couple of days.

Looking good. The spring rates you chose should work really well. Make sure that your shop really fine tunes the rear end of the car. After playing with different compression/rebound settings, we went with a very high rebound in the rear (10 out of 14) and that seemed to help settle the rear down a lot. Of course my car is sprung a bit softer than yours at 450/550 so that will change the way your car is setup. Either way, that rear end is where it needs a lot of attention. IMO. Can't wait to here your impressions when it's done.

Can't wait to pick it up, hopefully tomorrow if I get my last part in <hint to someone on here>

I am having it set to 8 in the rear for now, will leave the sound system out until i am done tuning.

Thanks bud.

Just thought i would mention about exhaust systems.

There are alot of great systems out there.

We at QuickSilver offer two systems.

1. The QuickSilver 'Titan' Exhaust (manufactured from Inconel and Titainium) This is the lightest system around so if you are seeking ultimate performance and light weight this is the way to go and it sounds great too see below.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QVodE...e=channel_page

2. The QuickSilver 'Sports' system which is around half the weight of the factory system. This system also offers performance gains with a similar sound to the above.

Porsche Factory Exhaust 28Kg (61.6 lbs)

QuickSilver 'Titan' Exhaust 10.4Kg (22.9 lbs Saving 17.6Kg (38.7 lbs)

QuickSilver 'Sports' Exhaust 14.8Kg (32.5 lbs Saving 13.2Kg (29 lbs)
