Blip the throttle...maybe a few PSI at best.
ya i burnd my clutch yesterday night racing ... i just got it 2 weeks ago , and its has the evo ms 600 package .
i have an evo8 mr where i launch it at 6000 rpm and slip , i did the same but revd up to 5000 with traction on and i sliped so much the clutch got too hot , here all gears sliped an the smell stayed for a long time .
now i need to get a new clutch and learn how drive the 997TT

Sound advice and cheaper to try here than experimenting on ones own expensive machine. No ever listens to good advice tho
.
Ok.......then again....if youve got a potload of tear up dollars to get rid of then perhaps try this one out...
1) Rev the engine up till it is bouncing off the rev limmiter and pin the pedal to floor with right foot.
2) Depress clutch and Select 1st gear,
3) Place head firmly back into headrest.
4) Step left foot sideways off the clutch pedal.
5) Wait for loud bang.
6) Turn off engine.
7) Call tow truck
8) Bring very large wallet (or cheque book) to P dealer for immediate emptying. (Have a box of tissues handy).
Good idea
