any tips/diy for protecting front lip?

I ran across this thread on the GT2 forum:

https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...rotection.html

and was curious if anyone here has a similar tip in protecting the front lip? I just purchased a new one and want to try to keep up as long as possible

I decided to leave mine unpainted and replace it when needed. It's about $160-190 at most places, a 5 minute swap, and unfortunately, will repeatedly get scraped.

There is a new "lift" suspension . It probably is a must have if one lives in a mountain region or faces many incline types of entrance ways .

Otherwise is just a matter of careful inspection of each entrance or exit to see if the lip has clearance. When the car is lowered the lip really does get low and its almost labor of love to avoid inclines . The worst culprit are those parking space concrete markers which are high enough to knock out the lip rather than scrape it . Never rush to park the car . That's the key.
