I installed an HID kit for my fogs last week and wasn't able to find a way to run a power line from the fogs into the trunk area to the battery. I ended up just get power from the plug w/o a relay and now the fogs tend to flash in the beginning or not come on at all sometimes. Anyone know of a small opening from the front under carriage to the battery so I can run a power line directly to the battery?

Pictures would be great but thats probably asking for too much

Id be intrested in knowing how this would work too...I know a memeber on here has a 3,000K HID kit on his 997 turbo (VIC55) maybe he can tell us how he did it

 

i know several members have HID fogs but i think the majority of them had a shop install them including VIC.

i have installed HID fogs in numerous other cars (ML, M5, TL) and never had to run a relay or get power directly from the battery but my TT doesn't like the power directly from the plug.
