AWE evt750

Picked up my TT yesterday after having the AWE EVT750 kit installed. All I can say is HOLY SH?T. This thing pulls like nothing I have ever driven. I am also amazed how the car runs at normal speeds. I really think it is smoother then stock. My thanks to C2 Design in Tampa and AWE. Also thanks to Eclou for convincing me that I would not regret it. Now I am going to hit I75 for some fun. Hope the K40 is working.

What is a AWE EVT750? AWE 750R turbo package from AWE...EVT700 is an EVOMS product.

Congrats...you're car must be screaming fast :) :)

Congrats on the upgrade! The boys at AWE consistantly turn out a flawless product- really transforms the car. Enjoy!

your right

I keep doing that. My bad. Any way the "AWE" system is amazing.

Freudian slip? hilarious

Anyhow, I am glad that others know how I feel driving my car. It keeps me giggling like a little girl....

congrats on a very very nice kit,

what made you choose the AWE750R VS EVT700
just wondering for future info

Also are the two kits have the same out put of HP & TQ
cause I could not find that with the AWE kit.

congrats, it must be insane to have that much power......enjoy it.

Congrats! You should bring that beast out to our Cars & Cafe' in Lake Mary (last Sat of every month). Gives you a good excuse to put in some more seat time with the new power. ;)

CWTwin,

Thank you again for your business.

We are glad you are satisifed with the car. Our kit is gaining momentum. We now have a pretty decent amount of cars running around South Florida tearing up the roads.

If you could, email me your address and the color of your car. I would like to send you some special 750R decals and a t-shirt.

Since the shop that installed CWtwin's kit is not a 6speed sponsor, he cannot post here. However, he is one of our premier installers. If anyone wants his contact info, please email me.

Awe 750r

I went with AWE because my tuner already had a relationship. Also, I had a chance to bounce some questions off Eclou(thanks again) and talking to a real customer vs a tuner made me feel comfortable that I was doing the right thing. Im sure both systems are great. I dont know all the specifics but there has been many threads in the past I'm sure you can find technical data. Thanks for kind words.

CWtwin...I saw on a previous post that you had an IPD plenum installed previously...did you change to the AWE one? If you didn't, did the IPD fit the new TB?

CWtwin Apr 2, 2009 11:07 AM

IPD Plenum

AWE had to remove the IPD plenum. I am not sure what the reasoning was as I thought it was compatable. My tuner said "it was machined wrong" I dont know what that could mean:confused:. Maybe Mike from AWE can answer that question better then I.

No problem...

We have integrated a larger throttle body in the kit. This unlocked a lot of power for us. It also required very specialized programming which appears only G.I.A.C. could accomplish since none of our competitors offer this option.

The IPD piece will not work with that larger throttle body.

Congrats on your decision to install the kit as well as consulting with Gene.
Just be warned, both acts can lead to a serious addiction! :)

By the way, there is nothing wrong with the electricals in the car
when the PSM blinks under full throttle in 4th Gear! ;)
