tip question

Tip will always take off from 2nd gear. How do I get it to take off from 1st?

Yes I can shift down manually before taking off, but then I need to shift up manually as well? right?

With those 'wonderful' paddles just leave it in auto and click down to 1st; or put in in manual and it will still upshift when you get up to about 600rpm below the rev limiter.

Question to ask yourself: with a TT or even a flashed S why start in 1st?
