"Best" is a subjective term when considering sound. What sounds great to me may sound terrible to you, and vice versa. Power, however, is not subjective, and there are some great options out there Let us know if we can help you out with any of the lines we carry (REMUS, CROSS, Agency Power, Eisenmann)

One major thing to consider here is how far you plan to upgrade your car. If you're looking to do upgraded I/C's, turbos, headers, sotware, etc., I'd carefully select your vendor for the cat backs.
For one, some cat backs won't be supported by some tuners in their higher stage tunes. For another, as you bundle your purchases through the same vendor/tuner, you'll save $ (if done carefully).
If you're very likely going to stop at cat backs, I'd go with whichever brand sounds better to you. Many vendors have sound clips, but nothing beats driving/hearing it in person.
