Hey guys, I just installed my misha add on wing onto my 997 and I used this thread as reference, very helpful thank you! Although I used a different tool from the Porsche one that is like $80 for only $19.25 and it worked great. It has a rubber end so its less likely to scratch anything to! So I thought I would share the site I bought it from for anyone that needs the tool in the future. http://www.zdmak.com/wbstore/main.as...OD=P245&CTMP=1

I am looking into changing my wing on a 2007 tt. I raised the spoiler and can easily see the hole about midway up the cylinder. Did you have enough room to get the wrench between the bottom and wing or did you have to pull the wing up further. It looks like the tool you used is thinner than the $80.00 tool. Also, was it hard to loosen?

So I take it you did not have to lift the wing up further ? Also, what year is yours and do you have a cab. Thanks!

A timely thread! I have a cargraphic spoiler on the way and this tool will come in handy rather than having to pay someone to change it each time (so that I can put my winter cover on it every winter). Thanks for the link derooy!

Porsche 997 rear wing

Hi

I have to repaint my engine lid/wing on a Porsche 997 Turbo and wonder if someone has some photos of how to remove the upper wing (the wing that goes up and down)?

Regards
Joacim
