Advice of upgrades

I am looking to buy a 2007 997 turbo and need some advice of the upgrades on it. It supposedly has 600hp, and has the GIAC stage II power upgrade along with a Fab speed exhaust with headers and tips.
My questions are what do you think of this combination and how reliable are these upgrades? Does the warranty from Porsche go bye bye with these upgrades? The seller told me that the upgrades were done at a Porsche dealership. It is a tiptronic. Thanks in advance for any help and advice.

Combination is fine, proven and well regarded mods.

Warranty is dust if the dealer wants to exercise that right. But if you take it to the dealer who did the flash Im sure they will be cool so long as the problem your in for is not related to the mods.

Bottom line is you mod be prepared to pay for the net results. For reference I have yet to see a damaged Turbo due to mods from a flash and exhaust.

get in "good" with the local porsche dealer in your area. they want your business, so they should be cool about it. mods you have are top notch & car will be a beast! good luck

Sounds like a nicely equipped car. Those are some proven mods. Like others have said, warranty issues can vary from dealer to dealer but if you have a good relationship with them you should be ok.

Thanks for the replies. When they say 600hp that doesn't mean 600hp to the wheels right? I have yet to drive this upgraded turbo, but I would image it feels substantially quicker at all speeds. Is that correct?
Thanks again.

I am pretty sure that is 600 flywheel and not to the wheels. Will if feel faster you ask? It will feel like a totally different car, lets just put it to that.

with stage II that is to the crank. with 600hp, you have an animal! the GT2 only has 530hp, though with less weight. you will have a smile on your face, pulls hard with almost all the gears!
