definitely wouldnt buy a new turbo...in new england they are about 20-30 off sticker, but the drop after that will still hit you...best deals are barely used 08-09s...good luck

299moto-I have a friend in the market for a new(discounted) or slightly used TTCab. What dealer were you discussing a $35,000 discount? By the way I own an 08 TTCAB and it's by far the best 911 (out of four) that I have ever owned.

I don't get the appeal of a 4S, heavy & slow the Porsche for the posers.

If you are a convertible person, don't hesitate buying one. Although my Porsche (996TT) is a coupe, I ALWAYS have a convertible daily driver (335i).....and I ALWAYS feel bad for the poor chumps in coupes who can't enjoy the top down experience.

I feel the 997TT market will take a huge hit shortly, because of the PDK transmission and the end of many 3 year leases on the 07s, putting lots of 07s on the street....although it won't help the cab guys.

And to think how 3 years ago people speculated how the 997TT wouldn't suffer the 996TT level of depreciation.....its even worse....and I'm starting to count my pennies
