I am new here. I just purchased my 997TT. I am having trouble finding the engine number that is stamped in the engine compartment. Anybody has any clues?

I am thinking of purchasing a CG exhaust. Their website showed 3 sound levels, I am probably interested in level 2. Does anybody have any sound clips for this? All I can find are "quiet" and "loud" which I assume are level 1 and 3

i don't think the us carries a version 2, but your best bet is to contact RSS (sponsor on the left) and they can fill you in. either way, i would get the loud/race version or you'll regret it after a few days with the quite

 

Agreed. The usual recommendation is the LOUD version, which despite of the name, is really not too loud at all and about average compared to others. This is what I have and the "review" is the link in my signature. It's a guarantee you'll love the sound.
If you are going to mod the ECU, then supposedly the LOUD version is more desireable (least back pressure I believe).

You might want to give RSS (US Distributor) a call for advice.
