Not 100% sure yet...ours only at 6900...Turbos runing out of air before that and powerband goes down so there is reallly not point to go any higher with mod VTGs...

We did this mod for one reason only NOT to HIT rev limiter !!!

Do you think the transmission will hold or you think to modify the torque convertor as well?

As regards the 3 count, don't know where you're looking. No self-respecting board would count it as a valid roll-on without a 3-honks. It's the industry standard.

I'll say again that the GT2 would pull on the GTR but not like that. That pull suggested a near 100% PWR difference. Either a jump start or a stock GTR.

That was pretty lame. I've seen legit races with guys yelling out of the car, hand signals, GT board using a landmark, even a third party car behind flashing. All of them valid. But to challenge the respect of the whole board because it's not your format of race is downright ridiculous.

I'll tell you what, if Switzer himself races the 2 cars and finds the same difference I'll buy it.

But no, throwing a cat out the window is not a conventional start to a roll race.

Really. If you've got a slip for that, it's an outright record.

Uhhh, torque converter!? What planet are you from? The GT-R doesn't have one, it has twin wet clutches. (or did you mean something else)?

That was the SPI750, not the gtr...

I think this thread has many branches, the GT2, GTR, Mike, Mike's SPI750....

Let's try not to get them all confused!
