Fabspeed Motorsports was the 1st company to perfect and devlop exhaust systems for all 996 twin Turbo and 997 Twin Turbo and was copied all across the board by all companies mentioned in this thread. For Chrissake just PM jeremy Alex or me as we sold and private labeled our Twin Turbo systems to virtually all the companies mentioned in this post.

Fabspeed Motorsports Version 3 loud export style exhaust is essentially a Cargraphic/Miltek export system but ever so slightly quieter. Todd Zuccone and others have confirmed it and essentially our system uses the same construction with better fitment and more power through better exhaust flow.

fabspeed Version 1 is a perforated core system- and is TUBI like and I sold alot of systems to Champion in Pompano Beach for many years! It isnt rocket science.

Fabspeed Version 2 is our Quietest system and designed for Tiptronic cabriolets and cars that need to be drone free. TIP cars and Cabriolets and the worst scenario is a TIptronic 996TT Cabriolet-- hardest car to have good sound. Our V2 does that all.

Best of all all these systems have different internal muffler designs with NO restrictions inside so they all manage to maximize horspower and Torque and utilize HJS Germany tri-mettallic OBD2 European level 4 washcoats. You can enjoy these Fabspeed HJS equiped Twin Turbo exhaust systems with NO mystery software to "eradicate or delete" 2ndary oxygen sensor functions or just delete CEL lights.

Also for ultra HIGH horsepower cars Fabspeed and EVO developed a 70mm 2.75" version 2 exhaust that is all larger tubing throughout the system and not just large catalytic converter pipes to the mufflers and then pitiful small pipes 2.25" 57mm inside the mufflers and to the tips as is being done alot on the web. This systems really wakes up the car and if we could ever have another LAS VEGAS STYLE exhaust DYNO shoot-out I would again expect that Fabspeed Motorsports would win it again.

Have a great weekend.

As a comparison, I have been living with my Ford GT with straight pipes for 3 years with no issue so I am not too sensitive to loud exhausts. But the 997 CAB is so sensitive to the exhaust's resonance, it won't take much to drive you up the wall. It is not the sound that will get to you, it'll be the drone which makes your chest and ear drum vibrate that make you want to swap it out if you ended up with a drony exhaust. People can argue over which sound or which tone is better but first and foremost, the exhaust can't cause any vibration of my ear drums or pound on my chest, then I'll try to find one with the best sound. But unfortunately for us CAB owners, there aren't that many exhausts out there for the CAB, especially TIP CABS that won't cause drone so buyer beware.
Bruce,

Your tt cab isn't at 700hp yet?
