3 options...

1. Spend your cash, get the plenum and ECU...Plenum adds a little more power to ECU.

2. Save your cash, get the ECU, and when you are ready, get the exhaust...probably the biggest bang for buck in combination with ECU (certainly more than plenum)

3. Save your cash, and if you continue with AWE's upgrade pathway, you'll end up with their own version of a plenum in their higher HP kits.

ECU=$2500=+100hp

Plenum=$1K plus install=+10hp or so...

Pretty easy to decide.

Wrong post... Sorry!
I would not get it now or later, there are plenty of mods you can do for the money that will make a huge difference to the performance overall.

The plenum is nice if you have the money to spend. If your looking for nice compliment to the ECU but you don't want to break the bank do a BMC Sport Filter and a sprint booster, both together can be had for less than $600 Installed.

From all accounts I've heard...the plenum is a waste of cash...but I haven't tried it myself...

I do not know of anyone who swears by it...let's put it that way

The plenum, is a worthwhile addition, but personally I'd wait until you have a few more of the "core" mods done first.... i.e. exhaust, intake or filter. You'll see the benefits from the plenum down the road if you opt for one of the higher hp kits. What exhaust are you putting on the car? If you're looking for suggestions, I'd go Cargraphic or Tubi...the sound is amazing with either, and they will complement your ECU upgrade very nicely for some additional hp.

On Sprint Booster's web site:

• Sprint Booster does not increase Horsepower.

• Sprint Booster does not reduce your 0-60mph times.

• Sprint Booster DOES make your car 'FEEL' faster.

?!?!?
