08' w/450mi for $106K or less. That would make it an easy choice for me.

This is a great deal, looks like the exhaust tips were changed out. Get the turbo! If you get this one change the steering wheel out.

I am thinking Scion XB! The turbo will makes me feel special, the XB will keeps me young, at heart. My family all loves the XB, and the turbo
Turbo for sure! From 06-09 I had an 06' Z06' that was around 650 hp. It was extremely fast. I traded it in on a C4S Cab on a Friday. Monday I went back to the dealer and took back the Z06. Yes, I kept the C4S cab as well. They both sat in my garage. I would drive the cab for a day or so, but I always ended up back in the Z. The C4S just didn't have any power. I traded the C4S back in after about 4 months. I never drove it. About 5 months ago I traded the Z06 back in on an 09' Turbo Coupe. For a few days I missed the Z's raw power, but the Turbo is the WHOLE PACKAGE!!!! Power, Handling, luxurious, a daily driver, a head turner! The turbo stands out in a crowd! Learn from us who have been down this road, get the TURBO!!
Go with the Turbo and you'll never look back!
I was in the same exact situation earlier in the year. I was all excited about ordering a new 2009 C4S and building it the way I wanted it after spending countless hours going over option codes, prices, colors, etc. A close friend of mine has a '07 GT3 and he asked "Why get a new widebody C4S which will certainly depreciate real fast when you can get a hardcore Turbo at a great price?"
I started looking for a clean used Turbo and I took my time. To make a long story short, found an incredible Turbo specimen after searching for 7 months. Car is a 2007 Turbo, GT Silver, loaded with only 1000 miles on it with original sticker price of 141K! Got the car for 93K plus tax. Car cost me less than the new C4S (one I was going to order had a sticker of 112K and dealer was going to order it for me for 102K). Not only did I save money but I got twice the car the C4S is IMO. The Turbo is in a league of its own and have never had a car that was this awesome. Acceleration is incredible. After driving my Turbo for a while, the C4S looks vanilla to me, nothing special. Don't get me wrong-the C4S is a great car but the Turbo puts it to shame. Look at all the other posts, most of all the other Porsche enthusiasts say go for the Turbo and this forum has alot of educated and well-seasoned 997 owners.
Good luck with your purchase, the Turbo will bring a huge smile to your face and you will never regret it

One more opinion. Get a first generation 997 turbo with low miles - that's a no-brainer. Or better yet, buy a low mileage 996 GT2, change out the suspension, and you have a great race car that is street legal.
Currently in the same boat. Have been looking the past few months. Test drove an '08 turbo with tip, felt quite a bit of turbo lag. The 911S w pdk was not far behind in acceleration IMO. Will this car be a DD. If so, a new pdk might be worth it. I feel the turbo needs a manual as I was not impressed at all with the tip. But a manual in NYC and jersey for daily driving...no such a good idea. Leaning towards the pdk 'S'!! Ask yourself what will the car mainly be used for?
