oem rear wing kit for TT

Any info on cost and efficacy in terms of downforce/benefit over the stock wing. Is the added kit really worth the additional expense? The stock turbo kit is apparently carefully balanced and tuned-hate to mess with the aerodynamics esp with the cheap aftermarket carbon crap that is readily available.

Are you referring to the factory aerokit? Their press release reports that there is an increase in downforce by about 20% with no change in the coefficient of drag (0.31).

factory aerokit , yes-its the most appealing so far-any idea re: cost-have a modded 650 HP TT -don't want to be a wannabee GT2.

The parts cost about $5300 through SunCoast...it includes the rear deck lid and wing, front lip, and a few other parts. The fan, hydraulics, and mounting hardware needs to be transferred form the stock decklid and wing. You will also need to paint it, and either use Durametric 6.0 or PIWIS to turn off the factory wing or a warning light will go on when you accelerate past 70mph.

You may also want to use the GT3 console to eliminate a "dead" wing deployment button:

Can you give me drag versus downforce on wind tunnel testing. Weight savings??
