simple. If you're gonna mod right away, then 997TT.

If you don't plan on modding, then 997.2TT.

Okay, I "think" I have made up my mind - I'm going to get a 2010 997TT with PDK.

It's (still) a very tough decision to make especially given all the fantastic deals on the '07-'09 cars and who knows a deal too sweet to pass up may come along. However, in the end the Porsche's new improvements to the car are what tipped the scales in favor of the '10 for me.

Now for the really hard part; winter is just around the corner so I won't be needing/buying the car until late spring like most other '10 buyers - I assume. The positive is that by then I'm sure some of the great tuners out there will have begun unlocking some secrets and extracting even more power.

Now the search for a dealership begins.

Thanks guys!

Good luck on the unleashing of more power.
If you plan on financing the rates from Porsche are pretty hard to beat today. People don't buy sports cars in the winter!
Your best bet is to wait for the first snow and walk in and order your car.
If you come to your senses by then, maybe you'll drive out with one and it will have 3 pedals not 2
