Had K40 in my Aston. Will get the same for my 997tt. Can't go wrong with it and won't cost an arm/leg either.

My car came with a K40 and it is worthless.

You'd be pulled over handing your license to the cop before the thing goes off.

I have a 9500xi on the windshield now. Maybe my K40 is just broken... someday I'll have to get it looked at.

8500 here - 9500 adds the gps tuff - both are aweome.

I've heard lots of crap re: K40 not working and being a waste of money.

I hear lots of great thing about the escrot ZR4 though (works with 8500/9500)

anybody with a zr3/4?

I have the 9500ci and the V-1 and I find the V-1 to be more sensitive, which generates more falses. I especially like the memory feature of the 9500 and the arrows of the V-1. I'd say they compliment each other. Wouldn't be without either.

The 9500 is NOT a laser jammer rather it's a laser shifter, but the result is the same. There are jammers on the market, but they are illegal by FCC rules.

A word of caution: the only thing that will beat "instant on" is having a "rabbit" running out in front of you to light up the laser and radar guns.

Radar jammers are illegal, laser jammers are not (though some states still outlaw them).
