i dont think it's the same as the trans. in the sl65 black series but i do believe it is the same gearbox found in the SL55/E55/etc. (mercedes went by touchshift)

No its not the same as the 65 Black or the 55 engines. Its the same as the V12 BiTurbo beasts ie: SL600, CL600, S600, S65, CL65, SL65... 5 speed automatic that can endure a boatload of TQ.

i saw my trans today 997tt .. there were a leak so i replace the geer oil pump .. i bought it from mercedes parts shop !!!

I don't think so, it would be a good modd if someone had one of those on a 997 SL65 produces 630hp and 765nm at the Wheels

It is a Mercedes gear box....used in their cars that have 612hp, 738lbft of TQ!! I am not sure if they are still using it in their new torque monsters.
