HN-GT2997 is infamous around these parts
So finally the weather was nice and I did do the FVD flash to my GT2 wow that was so easy to get the car flash so it was time to drive it. the car runs perfect and smooth all over the hole rpm band in any gear you can feel the extra power on the top end even at 7000rmp the car is still pulling so I am very happy with the car in total with all the mods. so it was time to check to also let you guys know the feedback on my TPC coolers what I know already they are worth ever $ in the earlier test here the info.

I did start the car cold and drove the test for 45 minutes with the Durametric recording all the hole test!!!!!!

the outside temps were 13.5-14.3 celsius then 15 Celsius

so driving the car the intake temp was 16-17 celsius what a IC!!!!!!! just a little over outside temperatures

so the oil was warmed up ready to kick down the pedal

so then I went on the highway driving 110-120km for like 5 min the outside temp was 14,3-15 Celsius intake 17 Celsius still no move over this temps

the speed-limit was over so I did push the pedal down in the 6th gear for about 35-40 seconds going up to 267km/h the temperatures reach 32 Celsius still the outside was 15 Celsius, then the speed-limit was again i did take the speed off to running 120km/h the temperatures going right away down to 23 Celsius driving right away to the next parking lot on the highway was less then 70 seconds to drive after the speed limit was active.

on the parking the car was running in idle I had 21 Celsius intake 14,3 Celsius outside

I waiting 30 seconds to let the trafic pass the Celsius went even down more.

I had 20 Celsius intake 13,5 Celsius outside then I did stat normal rpm pedal full down 1-2-3-4-5 up to 230 as of a corner I had 33 Celsius outside 13.5 Celsius

then again full gas up to 256km/h the temps went up to 35 Celsius that was the most i did get up.

then i did drive slower and making a turn around the intake 19 Celsius pushed the car up to 230km intake 30 Celsius then I was going between down to-170-190km/h I did drive it back in the 6 gear then temps were so fast down to again intake 20 Celsius then even 19 Celsius intake were the outside them was 15 Celsius still speeding 140-170km/h in 6 gear.

Finally I can tell the TPC IC make the car runs so cool that at this cost the are as good as the big $ ones that are made in the UK for a lot less just my 2 cents on a finish tuning project with a very happy GT2 driver

I would like to see what I purchase with real testing in hotter weather, 13DegC in German winter is not good enough for me I´m sure he will show us more data in the summer and until then Secan/CTR rules.

I don´t want to pay Secan/CTR IC prices either but as long as no one can show real testing incl heat soak number´s for a "tuned" car in 30-35DegC it´s not interesting for me to purchase them.

like I said, looking forward to see more testing.

I did look very close to the numbers Toby posted at the same temps so I am very happy with what I saw

Hi,

could you please try do test 100-300 6th gear when ambient is about 25 degree?
I'm asking becouse I did same test when ambient was 11C and max inteke I saw was 22C but when ambient was 25C intake rised up to 60C !
Of course I have water spray on heat exchanger but I didn't use it yet.

Ps. my max boost is 1,5 bar from 3100rpm.
