Drag Strip *Shake Down Run* Keithta 997 Turbo 1/4 Mile
In the United States official drag strips have trap speed timers located 66 feet before the finish line. It records the car's average speed between it and the finish line. Thus lowering your "true" speed at the end of the 1/4 mile. The driftbox, on the other hand, doesnt take the average of the last 66 feet so it tends to show your speeds to be higher in most cases.
I know many drag strips outside the US do not have speed traps that take the average of the last 66 feet.

Yes I was in 5th through the traps.
I know Switzer's Sledgehammer a while back pulled through in 4th at 146.x bouncing off the rev limiter around 7800 rpms.
If my car had the rev range to hold 4th through to the end, I wonder if that would have helped trap speeds instead of shifting into 5th....

The G3076 kit contains a lot more parts and is twice the price. Your time is on par for GIAC 700 that eclou posted a while back.
With my previous kit (GT3071s & 3.5" intercoolers) I ran 139.53 keeping car in 4th through the traps at 1.45 bar. If you running your car on a drag strip outside the US, you should be able to show higher trap speeds than we do in the states.

I know in my other car, If I shift 5th the car will have a higher mph but ET will not change. I have th Rev limiter raises so i can go through in 4th since 5th is difficult to shift fast (Supra TT)
Id love to mod the hell out of my 997 but Id hate to have to deal with the clutch issues that I went through with the Supra. (Single disc clutchs that are very heavy and an on/off switch, Multi disc clutchs that are noisy)

Thanks...I decided to go through with the run since the track was about to close.
