Check engine light problem
I had a CEL which indicated the right cat was defective. I had the dealer turn off the (reset) the light. About three months later another CEL which still indicated the right cat was bad. Had the dealer reset the light again. Then in another three months I got another CEL indicating the left cat was now bad and I got the dealer to do another reset.
Then I took the car to the Cargraphic dealer here in Seattle. The deal we worked out with the U.S. distributor (RSS) was I would buy two new cats, return my old ones to RSS who in turn would send them to Cargraphic for verification of the fault. Cargraphic verfied the cats were bad and refunded my money for the new cats. My cats were still under warranty (2 years), so although it took a while to get things resolved it all worked out in the end.

At least when my FS went bad, they just sent me new ones at no charge. That's BS to make you pay up front and F around with refunds, hope it worked out.
Agree that CELs should never be ignored, or simply deactivated with a flash, I would want to know when something is happening.

Warranty Process..
As the Cargraphic Distributor for North America, RSS always puts our customers first. In regards to warranty service, Cargraphic has a very specific warranty claim process that we and our dealers/customers must adhere to, given it's not the quickest process out there. We are working with Germany to help improve their process but some of it is out of our control. We do apologize and hope that our efforts with Cargraphic will help them understand how important this is to handle quickly. Warranty claims on Cargraphic products are rare and it seems that our fuel in the US is partly to blame.
At the very least, the 2 year warranty on 200 cell high flow cats is a positive thing.

Search
Hey guys, i just installed a fabspeed V3 exhaust with 200cell cat on my 08 TT, and i am having the check engine light problems, I am running the lim mode which only allow me to go up to 0.6bar. I tried to take off the battery for 5 mins and let it reset but it doesnt work. Anyone else have the same problem? Do i need to reset the computer inorder to solve the problem

Good luck - check the search info you'll get it fixed, no worries. You aren't alone with this issue.
K.
thanks
I have an EP II and it definitely does NOT throws cels. There are other EP users here and they will tell you the same thing. Certainly one of the best, the best IMO, Porsche exhausts out there.
I use Europipe for over a year now and never had any problems
Stef just sent me some different tips via FDX and I just signed for them. No hassle, no nothing.
This isn't the half of it. I have dead Cargraphic cats on my car right now. They are within the warranty but I've been told that since I bought a car with these cats on it, they will not cover me since I didn't buy them. Even though I have the receipt and they're on the car they were originally installed on. Also, Cargraphic will not warranty their cats if you have a tune. Mike at RSS is trying to help but it seems like these guys don't really want to stand behind their product. I would bet myself and HUMMM3 isn't the only guys that have had problems with these cats.
