Driveshaft Shop axles just arrived via UPS and are ready to go in. The 1000HP driveshafts feature chromoly 108mm inner and outer CV, with exclusive chromoly cage/race set, and a 300M bolt-on outer stub to fit the factory hub. The center bars are chromoly and 36 splines, upgraded from the factory 28 spline units.

Lets hope they hold up!

Have you ever known anyone to break driveline stuff at the 1/4 track? At which power levels do you recommend replacing driveline parts?

around 800HP is when the axles start to fail. my stock ones have not failed, but there is a TON of play in them now.

So it is not the shafts as much as it is the joints? Have you noticed any twisting of the shafts?

Old drag racing trick, take a ruler and run a paint marker down the length when they are fresh... I have seen Ford 9" axles with over 45* of twist!

Got the Hobbs switched hooked up. Now when we hit say 5lbs of boost, the Nitrous is sprayed on our intercoolers. We can do this manual or automatic.

We also got our customer under tray built since with the straight pipes, the rear bumper acts like a giant parachute. This is all aluminum hand built here.

Have you thought about wheel covers similar to F1? The amount of air thrash at 200 MPH has to be huge on any wheel. Ferrari went so far this year as to have BBS design new wheels because they saw so much of an improvement in top end last year when the covers were still legal. Other than that, looks like an awesome build.

Thanks for the tip! Last year we ran the HRE P40 and this year we are running the C93 which is about 5lbs per corner lighter in the rear and about 3lbs in the front. So the rotational weight should make a difference. We are modifying the diffuser too. Stay tuned
