Unbelievable!!!
All I have to do is launch it. I predict mid 170's. My friend Steve says 180. Not sure of that.
^^^Yep that was pretty much what I did with the PDK Turbo, and boy did hell break loose. PDK + Turbo is a marriage made in heaven because of the lack of boost loss (no lift of gas pedal); it should have been obvious but I didn't expect it to be so outrageous. The take home lesson for me was that, at least for the low end, say 130 mph and below, don't ever street race a PDK car with your manual Turbo. It's not just the power, but the gear box that gives the margin of victory.
BTW, IMHO PDK and and track oriented tire/suspension (versus Turbo's daily driver suspension) are the simple secrets to the GTR that we spent so many pages discussing.

C'mon if Panamera Turbo trapped 111mph that would be utterly embarrassing because a 7 year old E55 sedan and 5 year old M5 trap 115-116mph in the 1/4 mile. Looks like both C&D and R&T got 119mph... which is a little faster than the average times for E55 and M5. Still 911 Turbo should beat it though, especially tuned.

If you do a search, you will find the PT trapped slower than 119 in several reviews, and when running a lighter faster trapping tuned 911, the result were very interesting. Hence my interest in the datalog at the Mile.

Panamera's trap 118-119 mph, plus powershifting a $100k plus Turbo is not for the faint of heart! Even powershifting there is a momentary loss of tractive force where as with a PDK there is none.
