Checked today and it appears it will go up to .9 BAR with Chrono engaged as you suggested. It seemed to spike to .9 then fluctuate to .7, .6, .9, etc. Hope that helps....

Do a kick down between 2500 and 4500 rpm when in sport mode. You should get close to 17psi and see the overboost arrow dial in. Lasts about 10 seconds.

what arrow? I've never seen an arrow?
Max read out on boost has been 1.2 BAR...some one with TT mentioned a 1.4 readout which I understood a GT2 only feature...Needless to say this whole stock vs. sport vs. standard vs. SC has boggled me silly...Crikey!

Thanks therock88. Thats exactly what mine does too in SC, and normal mode too. Those figures are exact to the T.
So, its all normal as P dealer said....boost is all fine and working as it should. Does seem odd tho you never see the infamous 1.2 ever appear. I guess it must be just a P marketing BS thingy....where you never actually get to see it (1.2) happening on the gauge. It basically means the gauge is just a superflous gimmick for novelty purposes only . Best not to worry about it and keep a watch out for all the nannas.

On mine, I see both the arrow and the gauge showing 1.2 bar.

On mine, I can see both the arrow and the gauge showing 1.2 bar when in SC mode and flooring the throttle.

For what it’s worth… mine consistently reads 1.2 in Sport mode for the full ten seconds and reads 1.0 in normal mode under full throttle. My ECU is stock. I do have Milltek exhaust but I don’t think this has any affect on that. It basically performs exactly as the owners’ manual states. Seems a little odd that your car would never read 1.0 to 1.2 in either mode. From what I know and see in my car, the arrow appears during the ten-second blast in sport mode. Regardless, sounds like you’re really enjoying car… cheers

So fella's, where is this arrow you are seeing?

I must admit that I am not usually looking at the dash where I nail the throttle.

Look at the center gauge....When you punch it, it is to the right of whatever you have displayed. If you have your boost displayed, it is just to the right of it. Pretty small arrow, but you should see it, as long as you have the chrono switched on. Enjoy!

Ohhh! No wonder I've never seen it - I never use the chrono function.

The sport chrono overboost function is factory set to last 10 seconds. I believe it will reset when the throttle is let off a little and then can be re-engaged. I also believe the arrow stays illustrated during this ten-second blast as a notification that the vehicle is in overboost mode.

you also really need to put the pedal down fast, if you ease into it Ive found overboost wont engage.
