hehe ! Thanks! I keep on tweaking with my ride height to find just the right compromise for track and street. Based on my recent outing, I think I'm going to go just a tad lower for the next track day. We'll see....I may just be riding on the bump stops by that point.

Hey Neil, Fantastic pictures. I can bet there is a big smile on your face behind the helmet. It was great meeting you at Euro Sunday last week. Your car looks fantastic, you and Alex, James at Sharkwerks did a great job. Please PM me the info on April 30th for Thunderhill. It would be great to have a few turbo's out on the track that day. Look forward to a track day. Marco

Hey Marco. Real good meeting you as well. Yes, I always have a huge smile while on the track...hence I always wear the next bigger size helmet just to fit my smile.

You should come by next Sat at Santana Row. You'll meet some good folks and see some great cars as well. We can discuss plans for T-Hill on 4/30.

Have you ever tracked before?

I was talking to Eugene and Anthony today at the meet. Anthony thinks that you need to change your exhaust already then do stage II flash. hehe

Looks nice Neil, glad some of us actually take our cars to the track.
Heading to Barber next month, then 3 days at Watkins Glen, can't wait.

I've been to T-Hill about 8 times. I really enjoy T-Hill because there is lots of run off. lol. I will try to make it to Santana Row nexted weekend. My son plays baseball 6 days a week so its hard for me to make alot of the meets. SR is fun but many of the peeps just stand around and talk about how great the cars are. I perfer going out with the Marin F car guys as they meet early, go for a sprited drive. After the drive there is a meal and lots of stories about the drive. I'm working on the exhaust.

thanks Chris. These cars are so much fun on the track; even stock.

Have fun at Barber and Watkins. Keep the shiny side up.

what track/event would you recommend for a beginnner? Never been to track but that's been on my must dos list for awhile now. All I need is a helmet right?

From where you live, you should try out Thunderhill. Good place to learn especially when turn 5 is shut down(you'll use the bypass).

Check this: http://www.ncracing.org/logistics.php

Sign up with them and for your first time out, you'll be in a driver's ed/beginner's group that has a combo of track and classroom time. This is a full day thing.

For the track, you'll need:
- approved helmet
- painters tape
- clear bra would be a good idea

That should be good for now. When you decide you wanna do more tracking, then there's other things you can do to the car(r-compound tires, more suspension mods, better brake stuff, etc.).

I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

I would suggest the porsche driving school in Alabama, first class operation, factory race drivers, no passengers, their cars....it's a blast!
