Rain, driving under heavy rain

how does a 997 TT handle / drive under heavy rain?

turbo manifolds get wet, do they ever crack?

Handles/drives very well. The only thing to watch out for is your brakes getting saturated with water if you drive through a lot of standing water (like on a flooded highway). Every few minutes I find you need to pump out your brakes, otherwise when actually need them then they won't work! I have found this on both steel and ceramic 997 brakes.
