Nice vids thanks. Dont think the Audi R8 had a chance against the double clutchers. Numbers put it right there with the GTR straightline in the dry but it just got left for dead in the wet.

Looks-wise Id take the Audi in black though. Performancewise Id have to chose the Porsche. It left both of em with absolute ease as expected. The GTR is still a fav of mine regardless but Porsche has got it with that PDK and powa. Would have loved a test in the twisties in the dry. That outcome would have been a toss up between the Porsche and GTR with the Audi probably a half second off.

The R8 has a less sophisticated AWD system and also relies on a human for launch control! In the dry, the race would have been much closer, so really kind of a stupid test. I don't know about you guys but I don't race from the lights in the rain!

Good videos, thanks for sharing.

With the way the R8 was equipped, that type of ownage was inevitable. Give it R-tronic and launch control and it will do much better, even though the Porsche will still dominate.
