Man, I thought mature people drove Porsches.......this thread belongs in the Mustang section. The fact that a sponsor braggs about that kind of a speed in a residential zone is mind boggling! Either you dont have a family or your just a real scum bag.......which one?!?!?

snaphappy is infamous around these parts
I find it interesting that you guys are going 120+ on public bumpy roads. Is that just no problem for a TT? I know it can hit 195-205 etc, but surely can't feel all that great on a public road?

Personally I pass no judgment on speeding. Street racing is a wonderful American tradition imo. I've lived in the South for 10 years now and people are pretty passionate about revving and racing at stoplights. Frankly, it's mostly pickup trucks. I've participated plenty, but I just push in the clutch around 55. I don't think it hurts anything and the speed limit is 55... However, in Texas, where the speed limit is 75, everyone hits near 100 when they're passing. The police should just sit out there because they could hand out tickets all day.

It would be wonderful if....people and innocents haven't died from it, they didn't choose unprepped roads in big horsepower cars, they didn't do it in tandem or around curves, passing traffic or through intersections.

I get a quick roll-on race to 90-100mph on a clear highway or a 0-80mph blast on a limited access, multi-lane, clear road. But to call it wonderful is silly.
