Don't worry the USA will soon catch up on the taxation. We just got healthcare for all

Have you test driven this 997T PDK yet? I test drove the Panamera 4S with PDK and really liked it. They didnt have this Turbo then.

Why isnt the dealer taking your old car in or do you mean he offers too much below value?

Well maybe the tax system will change in January or April...
Well my Turbo has Techart kit and Porsche in Finland will not take tuned cars in. Sucks!

Have you heard about tax change? What's coming???

Wow, that is alarming. One would think Techart is a respectable enough tuner...
I hope the taxation will change, but then again it has been here since the 1950's. What I have noticed is that most of the showcars are not registered in Finland. Is the sales personnel also waitmg for something to happen? If something happens it will probably be 1.1.2010 or 1.4.2010...

I hope not, I'll plan to move over some in the near future. Although, you guys need to figure out how to finance the health care for all the 13 million illegal immigrants and I don't see that decreasing the tax load

I don't there is going to be a tax change. It was the last tax change that caused car dealers not to register those cars because the tax benefit was dropped from car dealers.

I did drive the new Turbo PDK - I have my own 09 Turbo (hand shifting) and I really love the new Turbo. In my mind 1000time better then old and real strong. First time that love on this cars automatic (but only on Turbo)
But I order GT3 RS - love this style still much more then Turbo (but real great car)

This just sold at the Collection here in Miami. W/ PDK. Supposedly it was the first in North America but who knows what truth comes from dealers really.

Stunning in person

I'm waiting to Spec up a 911 Turbo S in February. The base 911 997.2 Turbo is AUD$397,000 drive away. That includes 10% GST (Goods and Services Tax) and 33% LCT (Luxury Car Tax). So wonder how much the base Turbo S will be to drive away?

my dealer just got their first 2 turbos yesterday. checked them out today. some quick visual observations (they were sold so I couldn't drive them). the new stock wheels are very sharp, no need to upgrade for me, although bummed these came with bridgestone's and not PS2s. the steering wheel with paddles was sharp looking and felt great too. aside from function, the dynamic cornering lights just look cooler than the standard lights. i like the larger rear exhausts. 2.5 more months for me.....

gerbs, welcome to the forum.

Do you know what spec Aust cars will have on the S? I nearly ordered a straight Turbo with PDK but the car I was looking at had no PTV which I would want. I'm in Adelaide.
