Upsolute on a 997tt

Anyone with any experience with this tune on a 997tt? The local performance shop recommended it (I was just in there getting my exhaust installed). There are some posts in the 996tt section but just wondering if anyone with a 997tt has some input. thanks.

I don't have the experience you're asking for but

UPsolute are located in Austria.

Even for a European Tuner, they are not commonly used in NA (when compared to the likes of Ruff, TechArt, SpeedArt, etc...)

In NA, and on 6speed, you have NA tuners that are simply outstanding and much closer to home: GIAC, Softronic and EVOMSit to name but a few.

A tuned ECU will give you huge benefits for fair expenditure, if you are willing to live with risking voiding your warranty. No matter what anyone says, that risk is always there. Risk, not certainty! (Guys, please, I beg of you, let's not make this a warranty debate issue. We've had enough of those recently )

If you decide that an ECU tune is for you, then I would definitely go with the big established names and not with an obscure company (to us), which, mind you, may still be great but...

Can't comment on Upsolute.....but try to find a dealer who upgrades ECU's (they will probably use something that you have heard mentioned here) and you will find Nirvana. The dealer will support you and stand behind you if anything does go wrong. I doubt if any dealer will go past ~550hp. But to get that and still have your warranty is pretty darned nice.

Thanks guys. Autowerks is a well known tuner around these parts. Their head guy is a Porsche master mechanic. I subsequently learned that they also have access to Protomotive and have worked with other upgrades. When I first asked them about software updates they mentioned Upsolute. I've done a bit of a search on the stuff and it seems to be okay but I will stick with a more "known" commodity at the time of upgrade. I was just wondering if anyone around here had used the Upsolute solution on their car but it doesn't look like it.
