Errr... No!

I figure you started this when you said:

You come a cross a thread where a fellow forum user has taken the trouble to post a vid and share with us and you proceed to call it crap.

Then you wonder why he rolled his eyes at you and you feel he provoked a response from you and answer as if you're the injured party? Gee... That makes sense!

If you have nothing constructive to say about a guy sharing what he thought was a nice moment, to him at least, move on.

And by the way, his post had nothing to do with what can be proven on paper. It is about a guy who has had his car less than a week and is enjoying it. What's the harm in that?
Gee !! Thumbs up +2

STOP THE PRESSES!.. NHRA and AHRA have just announced that from this point forward, all drag racing in actual cars will be stopped. From now on drag racing will be done with paper and pencil since the outcome can be solved with simple math.

Dude, you are definitely out of touch. I won't argue that 100's of millions watch F1, but the vast numbers who not only watch drag racing both IN PERSON and on TV is in the 10's of millions in the US alone...every WEEK. The only auto sport that draws bigger numbers in the US is NASCAR.

Also look at the sheer numbers of PARTICIPANTS in drag racing! Look at all the popular and successful programming SpeedTV does concerning drag racing.

Jeez, there even 1 or 2 track hounds on 6speed that appreciate what a car and driver can do in a straight line against another car and driver.

If it's not your cup of tea, leave it alone and move on.

Stock for Stock the 997.2 TT PDK would pull a bare minimum of 10 787 Dreamliner lengths out from a 60 roll.....

Is that why Ferrari ended the manual tranny on their cars?

That would be Friday mornings here

Must admit, I have always been a manual tranny guy. I guess, at heart, always will be.
But, with a bit of age, and a bit of gridlock, and the almost telepathic performance on the various iterations of double clutch GBs, they seem to be far more attractive to me now.
That's why I went for the PDK.

I was partly kidding. I'm glad they actually make these transmissions. We have a GTI with DSG and I do really like it. Not quite as much as my conventional manual car but close enough.

If I would be in a position where I had to deal with traffic on a regular basis, it would definitely be the way to go. Pure performance wise, PDK will be quicker as well but I just enjoy changing gears; it's part of the fun.

You, my friend, are the poster child for negative reps.

Great race with the HKS620 GTR!

Now I'm curious as to how the PDK Turbo would fare against a stock ZR1.
