Turbo PDK vs GT-R
Well, forgive me for feeling kinda punchy myself...
Errr... No!
I figure you started this when you said:
You come a cross a thread where a fellow forum user has taken the trouble to post a vid and share with us and you proceed to call it crap.
Then you wonder why he rolled his eyes at you and you feel he provoked a response from you and answer as if you're the injured party? Gee... That makes sense!
If you have nothing constructive to say about a guy sharing what he thought was a nice moment, to him at least, move on.
And by the way, his post had nothing to do with what can be proven on paper. It is about a guy who has had his car less than a week and is enjoying it. What's the harm in that?

The side that likes to have fun and enjoy good cars and enjoy cars good!

Also look at the sheer numbers of PARTICIPANTS in drag racing! Look at all the popular and successful programming SpeedTV does concerning drag racing.
Jeez, there even 1 or 2 track hounds on 6speed that appreciate what a car and driver can do in a straight line against another car and driver.
If it's not your cup of tea, leave it alone and move on.

Turbo PDK vs GT-R:
How predictable is that???
That would be Friday mornings here
Must admit, I have always been a manual tranny guy. I guess, at heart, always will be.
But, with a bit of age, and a bit of gridlock, and the almost telepathic performance on the various iterations of double clutch GBs, they seem to be far more attractive to me now.
That's why I went for the PDK.

If I would be in a position where I had to deal with traffic on a regular basis, it would definitely be the way to go. Pure performance wise, PDK will be quicker as well but I just enjoy changing gears; it's part of the fun.
wow i guess u showed me huh? normally i wouldn't answer but i guess i feel kinda punchy today, so here goes:
what u guys did in that vid can basically be solved on paper. simple equation of power, gear ratio (shifting times irrelevant cause u both are driving automatics), and distance travelled. so again i repeat, who cares?
there's a reason why hundreds of millions of people tune in to watch f1 races and about 15k watch drag racing on espn2.
honestly tho, not trying to pick a fight. i understand your point about different types of enthusiasts. BUT you rolled your eyes at me so i am compelled to respond, no?

You, my friend, are the poster child for negative reps.
