Congratulations!

The car looks stunning. Mine should be ready for pickup on Thursday- the dealer is installing a clear bra and radar detector/laser shifter. It's been a stressful 2 weeks for both of us, but in the end, I'm sure that it's worth it.

I'll post pictures of mine as soon as I get it.

Once again, congratulations!

Mitch

What a beauty!!

I didn't even know they had Turbo S's coming out. I have a buddy that has a 997 Turbo and that sucker hauls. I'm always left grinning every time he's taken me for a ride and launched it, silly fast.

Can't even begin to imagine the new one! Congrats!!

Fun to see your car as I was told- repeatedly- that the RS wheels weren't available on "S" cars until August. Boo hoo. I wasn't going to wait until September to get Ice Blue Metallic manufactured with RS wheels...and not be able to drive the car until summer 2011.

So, I ordered Turbo 2 wheels and then found out they're 500 grams lighter in a set of four than the RS. Lucky choice. I'll be driving mine Thursday, with Youtube videos linked from

Have fun with your car and remember to follow the break in for 2000 miles so the engine doesn't fail later from premature stress. I'm doing 150 miles/day until the 18th of July and then it's off to the track

oh, and the GT Silver, AMAZING. was starting to get worried from all the boring comments i've been reading... this color is so rich and lives up to every expectation i had for it.
Absolutely !!! In the sun it's gorgeous .. looks like a spaceship low level flying down the road.

Great choice on the Turbo . It shows the car's lines beautifully.

Congratulations- I just purchased a 2010 911 turbo from Ray Catena about 2 months ago. They are great people to deal with and very accommodating.

I am sure you will love the car. I can't say enough about the power and engineering. With a few upgrades and some minor tuning, the car will go 2.7 secs-- 0-60 and do a mid 10 sec quarter mile at over 130 mph.
This monster is faster than the ZR1 Corvettes! My car breaks the tires loose on every shift with Sports Plus Mode.

Enjoy!

i remember an older post by you regarding the RS style wheels not being available... i couldnt understand how it was possible since the 2010 997.2 TT had them as an option. friend of mine took delivery in february with them on it. but if you like the standard one's better (or feel they're more practical - probably) then all the power to you!

regarding the break in period, my salesman basically told me dont drive 70mph in 2nd gear for 45 straight minutes and i should be ok ha ha

i could have gone to the track yesterday with my friends but decided against it - i'm gonn have to baby this one a while longer!
