OneFastBeast is infamous around these parts
Extensions help if your car is running rich. If that don't fix it then it's a bad cat. Had same issue.

These are often a good fix. Search this topic as there is a lot detailed info on this topic you will find helpful. Don't forget MAF - dirty or in need of replacement. You need to keep track of the codes - buy a code reader-clearer, they aren't expensive.

I've been through this issue a couple of times myself - see my and other's posts how to proceed. You will be able to resolve this.
Good luck.
K.

i've been dealing with this (or similar) CEL code for 3 years now (39K miles on it now). Today got 2097 and 2099. Changed the O2 sensor a few months ago. Had bung extenders on my previous exhaust and it came back. Also changed cats with the 1st exhaust system.

Swapped exhausts and same thing. I've gotten it before flash and after flash.

No one seems to be able to tell me how to get rid of it. All the shops i've spoken with say more a nuisance and not a long term issue - I hope they're right. Oh, I also changed the plugs around 20K miles.

Sounds familiar

Go to your dealer (they have the needed diagnostics) and have them check your MAFs. One of my times down this road I did all you have done (except the new exhaust) and they were all temporary fixes until I replaced a MAF. This fixed it permanently.
Hope this works for you.
K

Yes, ck the maf., I don't think 2097/99 are cat codes per se. I never had any CEL issues with FVD.

Also make sure that there are no leaks in the exhaust system, specialty the headers.

Got another code a while back and just read it. p2099 and p2099pd this time. Seems I have the same ones as you.
I haven't changed anything out yet, though. Certainly hope mine doesn't become as persistent as yours....

check this thread https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...-problems.html post by bbi autosport the fuel presser regulator can pull all the timing out, and make the car run lean -- this may throw the cel light .
