Trading in 4S for Turbo... advice.
The first car is worth the premium. The one you just listed is kind of "meh" compared to the blue one. 10k is really not that much when you are buying a car of this caliber. Don't try to use logic and reason to justify an emotional purchase. You are shopping for a high performance piece of automotive art not so much a means of transportation. So make sure you love everything about it.
Ditto on door #1...

As long as the paint has a color code, any good paint shop should be able to match it. Question is do you like that color combo or is it just the price that entices you? AFAIK, that car has been for sale at the dealership for quite some time.

Now the next question:
They will CPO it, but before I pay for that, I want to get a PPI (Pre Purchase Inspection report).
Anything else you all would recommend for buying the car sight unseen??
Certainly, I'll look at the DME, too.
Thanks!
Love the Cobalt Blue......well worth a premium for a high option car.
However, have you seen the gray interior on person? IMO of course, but Porsche does not do gray leather well.
Before you travel or buy sight unseen, go seek one out to look at.
Make sure the indy dealer actually gets the CPO before you put down a dime, I've seen a situation like this go bad.

If I was dropping 100k+ on a used Turbo, I would invest the time and effort to go see it, drive it, inspect it. Detroit to Florida, not such a long plane trip, do it on a weekend. If you show up from Detroit in person and you like the car, you will have a better bargaining position IMO because you are serious and you are there, ready to pull the trigger, as compared to another stranger from out-of-state on the phone asking for a price. I heard of too many horror stories about buying used cars, sight unseen. I once flew from California to Oregon to check out a used Mercedes CL65 AMG at a Benz dealer and I was able to get the car for 10K off their asking price on the phone. I think my presence made a difference because they knew I was serious and they wouldn't let me walk away
Good luck, I like the blue one!
Good luck, I like the blue one!
Just to give you an idea, I bought an 08' in GT Silver (Stick) with pretty much the same options (minus PCCB) as the blue one and it had a MSRP of $151 for $97 grand non certified. I didn't CPO the car because I'll be doing some mods that will void it anyways. It had 8,000 miles and I just picked it up last week.
It's pretty hard to find a Turbo with all these options with such low mileage which is why there is always a premium for them. If you like the color combo, I'd say jump on the deal but honestly, $110 is a little too much for a less desirable color even though you like the color. I wouldn't pay more than $102 without CPO for the car. If you pass this car up though... you may regret it because other turbos on the market without the extensive options as this one will look plain and it may be a while before you find another gem like this one again. It took me 6 months to find mine the way I wanted it and I know some who've waited longer.
Good luck man, these cares are truly a pleasure to drive.

UPDATE:
Great thread. Got me really thinking about what I want.
I really want a newer model with PDK, locking diff axle, PCCB...
So, I am switching gears and looking for a 2010 Turbo. There is only one on ebay at $128K... Except after watching the Porsche TURBO S video, I like the PDK shifters on the Turbo S better.
Thanks for all the help... This thread helped me realize, if I'm going to spend $100K+, spend $20K or $30K more and get exactly what I want. Except, I won't buy new and pay all the taxes.

Here is a car close to what you want and 12k less, the guy is a Porsche guy but I cannot vouch for the car. He is a Porsche Club guy but only 3 years.
