We built an actual cold air intake that uses a sealed box to give you increased air flow and keep it cool with the intake scoops. HP is achieved in midrange RPM as well as quicker throttle response. Most all turbo cars will gain this with an upgraded intake. There is always the which is better stock or aftermarket...

Their are a couple videos. Its gonna be hard to here an intake from external clips from an exhaust. Inside the cabin you will here the turbos spool more and when you let off the gas. You will notice right away the throttle response is quicker.

Looks awesome but nearly 1400 bucks???? Aye carumba. I'd just put the money towards upgraded vtgs but those of you with deeper pockets might get this.

Ours falls in the middle of Fabspeed $800 and Champion $3000

For anyone that is interested in a better sound, I found that the drop in BMC filter did upgrade the sound a bit

+1. I went from the BMC to the Fabspeed and there is a HUGE difference in sound that I really like. The turbo spool and popoff sound is worth every penny and even a couple of hp...if that really happens. I got some extra hp to spare anyway.

When I tested our air intake we made for the 996TT back in the day, I actually tested the IAT and engine temp with a probe unit and found the difference to be minimal. This was the same intake that made almost 30 peak HP. So before I/we build a product, we definitely give it a full test. Read on... https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...w-project.html

Intake change kept IAT stable and so there were power gains.
And I would please you once more to stop manipulating my cars performance.it would be better for you to post comments EXCEPT my car.Intake is from Fabspeed,not apr...
